Buh Bye!

Well, trying to think of what I’ve done since my last update…….I met Tom for dinner last Sunday at Smithy Ponds. mini-joyce commented on how we’ve hardly been in the last couple of months :( We were only there for a couple of hours, we did consider having two main courses but ended up backing out and having desert instead. Tom then took me up and dropped me off outside the co-op, so I helped Julie and Sara get the delivery off so we could go quicker. Then we went up to theirs and Julie cooked me her lasagne, which was pretty good (Y) A while later we walked down to mine, then started watching some of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

I wasn’t at work on Monday, so we went to town, I bought a new electric razor a “Phillips Coolskin” one, it seems alright, only used it twice though, it’s waterproof too (y). Bumped into Tom in MVC as well, so I ended up buying the X-men box set and Shaun of the Dead. Then Tom went and we went to BBs to meet Sharon. Can’t remember doing anything except going to burger kings and then going to the tattoo place because Sharon wanted her ear done…She tried to convince Sara to have it done, but she didn’t have time, I think she’s off the idea now anyway (Y)

Uhm, can’t really remember doing much else except work and stuff, oh and my hard drive breaking :cry, I was just there sat chatting away to Tom and then clunk clunk clunk my computer just froze, rebooted and computer couldn’t recognise my drives, my 40gb IBM drive was kaput, luckily the warrenty doesn’t run out till this December, so I’ve RMA’d it, running knoppix for the time being, while I decide what to do…..

Friday we went to town again, Sara had her interview for Senior Fresh Goods Assistant, or something like that. She doesn’t think she’ll get it though :/, at least now management types at work are aware of her ambition, cos she told them she’ll be manager one day (y) While she was having her interview I went down to college and met Tom and AmyL, Rae came a short while later, and AmyV a while later than that. Tom liked my Aesop Rock hoody, and Rae commented on how cool I looked h). Uhm, then it was back up into town met Sara and went for food at the Golden Fleece, the food was quite nice, there wasn’t an excessive amount mind, but at six quid for two main meals what do you expect…Full of auld people though :/

After dinner Sharon came into town and met us, she was quite, I dunno, catty about me, asked me what I was doing there and stuff, what a lovely girl :) Hmm so we then spent a couple of hours shopping, which was alright, I did get annoyed when Sharon took aaaaaaages in one shop, trying on one top, and a pair of jeans and got me to hold all her stuff all the way through. It took so long because she couldn’t work out how to put the top on *-). Friday night I was on the grocery, which was quite fun cos I got to talk to Scott most the night (y). After work we went to Tupton chippy where we saw Hamo, so she gave us a lift back down, then nearly mowed me down as she set off :|

Saturday it was my last day at work (Y), I was supposed to be going out with Mark and others for his 21th, but I really didn’t feel like it, plus there wasn’t really that many people going who I really got on with that well, and most of them were people I didn’t know so meh.

Now I’m sat here still not dressed, looking at Apple stuff, I can get a 1ghz iBook + iPod for like 700 quid. Then, I guess I can sell the iPod for 150ish so the laptop would only cost me 550. Hmm…Also I wanna do something with this week off, I’m thinking something like making a version of a till system like we’ve got at work, but that seems quite big, specially seeing as I don’t really have my own computer, so instead of doing some big, fully object orientated java system using a OO database, I might just make some procedural based thing, maybe. I’ll probs just end up playing Black and White though…
