Just bought a limited edition white stripes record from ebay. From Headnod I got a limited edition signed record of Blade – Pop Idol. Watching another record due to end tomorrow as well, much rarer but it’s more moolah, hopefully no-one else will go for it, been wanting this track for ages.

Also I’ve been on amazon and bought Survivor and Fight Club both by Chuck Palahniuk also Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life and Lord of the Flies, should provide me with reading for a while. Maybe I should setup an amazon link on the off chance people will buy things from there via linkage from here. Hmmm.

Ohhhhhh yeah, went to ikea the other day too, there was two crashes involving big lorrys on the way there, so it took a while to arrive (n). Didn’t get much, just some scented candles and plants, including this cool coconut one (y) Just want some blue tack now to stick a few posters up and this place’ll be home sweet home. Went bowling this afternoon, I won the first game by like 20 points (h), I ended up losing overall though :( . My replacement hard drive has arrived at home too, so I’ll have that for the weekend hopefully, give me something to do I guess. I’ll miss running knoppix, I guess, but I’m gonna have the fun of running and installing gentoo again (y)

Resubmitted my PAT today, they told me to include the URL to this place on it, so uhm, I did.

Went out to the Shirehorse for a meal last night, food was quite nice, had a desert and regretted it mind. Also there was some drunken lads nearby annoying Evv and Meggs (n) Could tell it wasn’t the real horse.

Hmm also Tom text me wanting me to go back to Chesterfield so I could go to Fez club with him and Dobbs and everyone, but I have a lecture first thing Friday so (n).

Looks like all the modules this semester are pretty interesting, got a lot of group work to do. Really starts in earnest next week, so I’ll have to start knuckling down then.

Uhm, oh yeah, Nathan dropped by last night (y), was good to see him, he’s got a job with a company car and stuff, sounded good.(y)

Woooooooo, well this is actually the longest gone since updating, like, ever. Been at uni, and without the net (n). So uhm, can’t remember a lot of stuff, basically, went shopping last Thursday to Derby with Sara, bought a Kool + the Gang best of type deal, dizzee rascal – showtime and three dvds – Orange County, Delicatessen and Changing Lanes. Uhhm, think that’s about all I got. Watched Orange County Thursday night, and it was alright, that was Sara’s choice actually. (more…)

I’m so Predictable

Predictably I did no programming, I haven’t done my PATs and I haven’t sorted all my folders and junk out. I did have my last driving lesson, driving hasn’t gone too bad this time around, I feel more confidant and stuff with it anyway. Hmm nothing much been happening really, stopped round at Mats for a couple of hours today and looked at his new car and stuff, and uhm, that’s about it tbh.

Well, trying to think of what I’ve done since my last update…….I met Tom for dinner last Sunday at Smithy Ponds. mini-joyce commented on how we’ve hardly been in the last couple of months :( We were only there for a couple of hours, we did consider having two main courses but ended up backing out and having desert instead. Tom then took me up and dropped me off outside the co-op, so I helped Julie and Sara get the delivery off so we could go quicker. Then we went up to theirs and Julie cooked me her lasagne, which was pretty good (Y) A while later we walked down to mine, then started watching some of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. (more…)

Uhm so much to write about, obviously I went to good ol’ Wells with Tom, Pip and Stace, but before that… Sue tried to get me to work Tuesday night, and wouldn’t take “I don’t think I’ll even be in the same county” as an answer the first time *-) Also I got early birthday cards and some Gucci Rush aftershave from Sara. Anyway Saturday came and I went to work then came back and sat around being excited waiting for the time to come for Troy to arrive and carry us away. (more…)
